A library is a store house of information and various sources are made accessible to the students and teachers for reference and borrowing. Our library provides digital access to study material such as books, periodicals, newspaper, maps, CDs, audiovisuals and ebooks. The Library is being arranged according to the Open Access System, where students and teachers can easily access information.
The Library consists of four sections.

4. Stock Section
The college library consists of 2,000 documents for Class XI–XII.
The UG library consists of 100 documents
Sophia Evening College is also equipped with a State of the Art Digital Library. It is a special library with an enriched collection of digital study material such as text, visual material and audio material stored in Electronic Media Format. The digital library is well equipped with Wi–Fi connection. The school has adopted GAILLIEO DIGITAL LIBRARY.
We have a vast collection of books on fiction in different languages such as English, Hindi, Kannada, French and Spanish. Apart from fiction the digital library consists of various subjects such as Marketing, Accounts, Finance, Economics, Computers, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, HRM, Atlas, Science and other fields of study.
The digital library enables quick access to the user. It gives access to a large amount of information to the user whenever in need. It is user friendly and promotes quick, accurate and efficient delivery of information. It has an unlimited storage span and has a multiple access. Thus the library as a whole makes learning an interesting process and facilitates the teaching learning process.
